Safe Kids Greater Toledo is a community coalition of volunteers who work together to protect children from unintentional injury. Our Fire Safety Committee is focused on fire and burn prevention. Max Learns Fire Safety was created over 20 years ago by Safe Kids Greater Toledo members. The Max storybook is available in a large format suitable for classroom and group presentations to young children as well as a smaller version for individual or small group readings. We also have coloring books available for students to take home and share the Max story with family and friends. The message is simple - “Don’t play with fire”- but ending fires is hard work. We are committed to spreading the Max message and want to do that while helping to keep our environment clean. Proceeds from recycling aluminum cans help raise funds to get our very important message out to end all fires. We need your help!
